Throughout his music ministry since the age of five he has shared the stage with many gospel greats and has been exposed to several musical genres. As a drummer he has enjoyed a decorated career winning a Grammy Award with Bishop Hezekiah Walker and has now moved forward starting his own music ministry. As C.E.O and founder of Nusoundz Music Ministries he has now formed his own musical empire in the making. With one album under their belts, the second one coming soon, Elder Jason along with Nusoundz is definitely a part of the future of Gospel music. They can be heard every day on New York’s # 1 gospel radio station WLIB 1190 singing the theme song to “Afternoon Praise” as well as “Sunday Morning” on WBLS hosted by Bishop Hezekiah Walker.

Most recently Elder Jason received an honorary doctoral degree from ABGM Alliance Seminary in Sacred Music. Elder Jason serves faithfully at the Powerful Praise Tabernacle under the watchful care of Pastor Darryl L.Hill, which is one of the fastest growing churches in Brooklyn New York. Using all the gifts that God has given him, he now writes a monthly Column in “The Christian Observer” a monthly publication distributed in the tri-state area. Elder Jason is constantly striving to bring the body of Christ together by planning events such as the historical first ever city wide “Youth Prayer day” an event that addresses the spiritual, physical and mental needs of the youth in the body of Christ. He also has published his first book entitled “You’re Not My Daddy” Guidelines to Becoming a Successful Stepfather. Elder Jason is also still writing and producing for some of the gospel music industry giants, the likes of Paul Porter ( of the Christinaires) Desiree Coleman Jackson just to name a few.

Elder Jason knows that God is the focal point of all that he does, and just lives his life by a simple principal, “What’s from the heart reaches the heart”.

Elder Jason is married to Lady Monique Hendrickson and together they have 3 beautiful daughters; Brittany, Akyra and Courtney.
